    POS card.
Its a rebranded 450 with higher clocks. It gets beat by a GTX 460 SE.

Too many cards these days, most of them shouldn't even exist. nVidia says alot of things, a lot of those things turn out to be bullshit for the gullible joe. There are idiots born everyday who will buy a 550ti over a GTX460 "because 5 is more then 4"

The GTX460 is 336SP, while the 550ti is 192SP, that's roughly a GTS450 which is half a GTX460. On paper the 550ti has increased bandwidth and clocks.

Get the GTX460, prices have probably dropped to around $140 - $160, So If you are in a budget then either the 560ti or just grab the GTX460.

The 500 series is a refresh and re-badge, its a fixed and fully unlocked 400 series.
