• Rage - PC Review

Godfather of FPS Game Creators are back with force, power & RAGE...I was actually damn excited & was waiting for this title as I loved ID's previous games DooM series,Quake series so didn't waste any time to collect it after its out & today I've finished it....Now here I present Rage to you through my view....

    Simple but Attractive main menu...

Rage is one of the best looking games out there now.ID software once again proved that they are the best...I mean take a look at fancy Cry engine 3's Crysis 2 & then look at ID tech 5 engine's Rage...Rage blows that graphics away...as Cry engine said they did this for consoles but Rage proved them wrong...It even gives a fair competition to one of the best looking game ever..yes m talking about Crysis Warhead...Rage has smooth graphics with detailed objects & perfectly designed Environment, detailed characters,enemies...

    Graphics is just Awsome...

Rage isn't only about graphics...its gameplay is fantastic too...Fast paced action, open world,Dive buggy's & war machines,Upgrade vehicles,Racing events everything gives fun & able to keep a gamer glued to it.1st thing I would like to say about weapons...A good number of weapons in game with lots of fire power...Every weapon has 2-4 types of ammo for different enemies...Three types of enemies in game actually...Mutant, Cyborg & Unknown creatures...

    What a weapon!!!

    Even punches can hurt...

    Look at ammo's

Well there are some cool other weapons too like Tri Blade,RC car bomb etc..Now the game isn't only about shoot n kill...there are some racing actions too...At track race you have beat your opponents by laps(u can use your weapons to blow them in race though they will too)Upgrade your Ride to a monster, add rockets,Machine guns etc...many things to do....

    My early quad bike...

    Here comes the pain!!!

& the final thing about Gameplay I would like to say then engineering option in which gamer can create some cool gadgets & weapons...Obviously every item needs specific ingredients which can be found during missions, places or can be bought from dealers too..

    Lets make some cool toys!!

Okk now about Story...well am a bit disappointed here but if we take a look at ID's other games then the case is kinda same here too...Like other ID's games this game lacks of story too...Nothing just to work for people who saved your life thats the story nothings else...Those who only does gaming for story then this game wont suck them in it...

    ***Liked The Game Because***
    *Excellent Graphics.
*Smooth & fast gameplay with lots of variations.
    *Racing action is pure fun.
*weapons feels like real with power.
    *Great sound work.
*Intelligent enemy can dodge bullets...reality feels here.

    ***Things that disappointed***
*This Game auto detects your graphics card's best settings so you don't have any chance to tweak advanced options, all you can do is to change resolution & Anti aliasing.
    *Minor glitches.
    *Where is the Story???
    *Confusing ending.

At the end I would say every one must try this one...The Game can impress anyone easily....

All the Images used in this Review are taken directly from my own Game play at 60FPS (Settings Advanced options auto detected Ultra & Anti Aliasing @ 16X Max).

    ..............GM.............
