FIFA & P.E.S. 12 - Review & Comparison

Today I'm gonna write a competitive review between these 2 leading (Or only one leading, I guess) Soccer games...So lets start with EA's FIFA 12...


FIFA 12 is the longest running & used to be the only Soccer game with lots of pride but last few years EA tried to improve it but they failed actually & failure is the PC ver. so I used to play this game on my xbox 360 & PS2 for couple of years...But this year they improved the graphics on PC a lot & to compare between PC & console edition I bought it both on PC & xbox 360...This time graphics looks same or I would say this time its more fun to play on PC..well now let me describe the game according to me...



Main menu looks kool with lots of options,Arena choose,player choose etc..you can directly practice while in main menu...itz actually the feature of last year...



character's looks good...



In game graphics looks good too but new Camera modes should be added like PES which I'll describe later...



well celebration looks good too..Now one thing I should say about graphics that disappointed me a bit...Its Crowd...what the fish EA?? at the time of last World Cup,World Cup South Africa a game titled that came out exclusively for Consoles which I enjoyed much really,had really good crowd graphics,crowd cheering etc...but where is that feature now?

I wont talk much about gameplay here as EA's FIFA 12 has the smooth gameplay with full control to gamer to plan attack & other things...Be a player mode is good as always,Manager mode has long season to play its fun....New feature like tactical defending is a good thing,impact engine feels more reality than previous games but stil when player crashes with each other,feels like two plastic toys crashed on air!!!...still its an easy game...

Now its time to take a look at P.E.S. 12...



Konami's P.E.S. 12 is gearing up to the ranking of Soccer games, actually for last few years PES (Pro Evolution Soccer)has been giving a good competition to the king of soccer or used to be the king of Cyber soccer game EA's FIFA series....this time this title shaked the base of FIFA & in some terms it has even beaten FIFA 12...To compare both games fare n square,I bought this title on PC & xbox 360...Let me describe this game too...



Animated main menu where C.Ronaldo takes a free kick...Nothing fancy Like FIFA 12's main menu...



Look at the players...Look at Xavi,looks perfect...isn't it??PES got gorgeous cut-scenes actually...



Look at Iniesta & Dani alves!!!...actually all models of PES 12 looks perfect...great work here...



In game graphics looks a bit out dated to be honest compared to FIFA 12 but still its good with plenty of camera options...like vertical,Broadcast,player cam etc...



Player cam...this is the cam I expected in FIFA 12..this cam mode feels like you are in ground...FIFA 12 rook mode has this feature means u can only control a player in this mode but in PES 12 you can control the whole team using this cam...thats fun now....



Celebration looks good too...here again I would say crowd graphics is crap...

PES 12's be a legend mode which is be a rook mode in FIFA 12...Pes's be a legend mode is far more enjoyable with lots of animated cut-scenes like press conf. etc makes it better than FIFA 12's be a rook mode...

Now about gameplay...I played pes 08 last & then after 3 years I'm playing this one...Improved a lot but still FIFA's game play is smooth though PES is a challenging game.Playing against CPU on FIFA 12 is a sure to win but in pes its a game to play,to win player must struggle a bit....other features are kinda same as FIFA....& Pes has official UEFA Champions league & European league...

***Things should FIFA follow of PES***
*Cut-Scene graphics.
*Competitive CPU.
*Be a Legend Mode.
*Cam options.
*Dramatic moments & Cut-scenes.

***Things should PES follow of FIFA***
*Overall graphics.
*Smooth gameplay.
*more in game plans,attacks.

***Things that to added in both games***
*Its 2011 but Still Crowd looks like posters!!!!why???
*Managers keeps shouting from side line these things should have added...
*Where is the LAN option gone???!!!

Okk both games are enjoyable but for pure fun I would suggest everyone to try PES 12 but in terms of graphics FIFA 12 is a bit ahead so try both...Happy Gaming.....
