Tomorrows Gaming Bangladesh - Need For Speed The Run

Ok as a fan of NFS Series Every year I keeps expecting that this time will be something but after NFS Most Wanted, Nothing stood up to the expectation though we still play NFS & couple of days ago I've finished the latest title of this epic series....Here is my short review on NFS The Run....

1st of all I'll talk about Graphics...Graphically This game is real beauty.Looks better then any other NFS games with perfect lighting effect,character animation,detailed world,reflection & weather...Really good use of Frostbite2 engine...but the biggest issue of this game is fps issue,this game is 30fps locked!! A modern day racing game locked at 30fps on PC...Console game runs on 30fps but why this restriction on PC too??well there are some minor bugs in game too but those are ignorable...

The game has some good looking cut scenes....

Now new things of the game..."Live the life of a racer" truly this game can give u that feel though its short but its really sweet....in any other illegal street racing games we saw just drive,get police behind u n escape from them with car or get busted...but in NFS the Run gamer can fight with cop when he is taken out of the card....give a chase to them though these things are only button press but really interesting add-on in a racing game....

Now lets talk about Gameplay...as other NFS games(Not Prostreet) Car control is easy in this game too but what the fish!!No customization???NFS series used to known for punk rides but for last couple of years its missing...in career mode rides cant be customized.....The Run actually features 4types of Races...Sprint which is named gain the position in Run,Checkpoint race which is named makeup time in Run,Knockout Race which is named Beat Rival in Run & Cop chase,Mob chase....well all the races are a little bit different from other games such as in this game player will start every race from chasing position not from leading position...But the main thing is NFS The Run in an Arcade style game...u cant drive freely,no map exploration is short its not an open world game...Just drive one race to another thats all not much variation in game which can make u bore but before u get bore the game will end....itz a small game....Now main problem in this game is,if u are playing this game on keyboard u'll face non responsible control issue like random auto brake etc....so u must play this game using controller....

The Run features Environmental changes...Each stage has different environment Like Icy,Rainy,hot sun etc....

Nfs The Run has some nice music's & sound tracks like other NFS games...

*Beautiful graphics.
*Nice Sound.
*variation of seasons.
*new features in racing game.
*Last race of the game has such a thrill that u cant enjoy in any other racing game...

***Didn't Like it Because***
*Buggy Control.
*PC ver. FPS locked at 30.
*Small game.
*Arcade Style doesn't suite the theme.
*Not that much variation in game.
*No Car customization in career.
*only a few cars in career.

At the end I would say The Run Concept wise a bit like NFS Mostwanted but far away to catch the heat of NFS MW though its a different experience...IF u cant catch the theme of the game,it will be a worst game for u...So if u r a NFS Fan then u should try it or else new racing gamers wont find any reason to try it...Its an average game but at some points it is a nice game....
