Removing Write Protected Thing From My Pen Drive.

    Hello,
I'm recently having a problem while I try to copy things to my pen drive. It says,
"Your device is write protected, use another drive" or something like this.

Please suggest me how to remove it....

Is there any life without a gaming/computer life? My Answer Will Always Be "NO!"

There's a few things that can cause it..Virus's and Antivirus's being one of them..

First of all check if your pen drive has a physical lock on it, It looks a lot like the locks you would see in floppy's, Some pen drives have this sliding lock so you can prevent data being over written. if yours does have this lock then move the lock in right direction to unlock it.

You can also try to unlock it from the registry
    >> Start Menu >> Run >> regedit >> press Enter

Now that should open the registry editor..
    >> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SYSTEM >> CurrentControlSet >> Control >> StorageDevicePolicies

Once you click StorageDevicePolicies, You'll see, "WriteProtect" on the right pane, Double click it and on the Value Data Box set the vale to 0 and press Ok. Then restart the PC and plug the pen drive again, should do it.

But if it all fails, the easy way for you would be to Copy all the files from it to a separate folder and Format it.
    All the best...

Then that might be the problem, Create a StorageDevicePolicies...and then retry...
Give us more info arifeen..the make and model of the pendrive etc...

also give this a try....HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool - v2.1.8 Download

Some pendrives have a little switch on them that can lock it & make it read only/write protected. Try looking for something like this.
