This article is dedicated to find out the best ISPs in bangladesh. The ISPs which is most used by the members where, gradually bringing up the ISP LAN-ing issues.

Suggestion: If you take connection from this ISP only take the 1500tk package.. Other packages are not that good!!

Speedtest:
Download Speed: 187 kbps (23.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 233 kbps (29.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

why do you guys chose the bangkok server?? i would suggest to chose the Malaysia server or new york server!!

dumb DCN erokom ei kore..DCN is the worst -est service provider in bangladesh.. even worse than smaller isp's in slum areas i have never seen such a big dumb in my life i hope i will not see anymore .. anyways i dont get any less than 128KBPS generally(although bdcom is suffering from a server loss for the incident of fiber wire got cuts..) generally my avg is 136KBS and at night its sligtly better.. heres my speed




and now look at this monster like speed(it generally doesnt happen but at night like 3am-6am it sometimes happen and be constant for more than 3 hours)



for a isp like bdcom who is charging only 1000 taka per month i think its the best isp there to provide such a speed.. download is always between 15-17KBPS... browsing is always between 10-13KBPS..their customer service is so excellent... i think its gr8 becoz i m paying only 1000taka (a very minimul paying for such a speed) u rarely find these kinds

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THIS LINE? (are you willing to change for better ) : i am "Satisfied" Just down graded my Plan of a 3MBPS DL - 30GB monthly bandwidth to 2MBPS DL 11GB one.

DO YOU HAVE SUGGESTIONS ? : Introducing some new Plans for less $$


Some thing funny that happened was when I took this connection few years back then i was not aware of all the plans from world net so i was on a 1GB bandwidth plan which was pretty cheap. So later on it kept making me huge bills such as $200-$300/month, Later on I Found that i was using lots of download bandwidth so i changed my plan to a 30Gb one. Now I dont use that much so i switched again to a 11Gb one. what we people do aye>? :roll:

What you can get for only 40 bucks.. Internet is much cheap here i guess.

As far as i know, internet is faster and cheaper in US than yours in NZ.
But when talking about money, INDIA is the CHEAPEST though they dont give the fastest.
2 MBPS for 250 rupees! c'mon!

almost equal to zaid bhais, but much more cheap.
One of the weird thing in our country is, out ISPs havent introduced DOWNLOAD limits yet. All the countries have it.

Maybe because our speed is so low, the possible limit can never be bypassed.

tested ZIP's (mazeda) net speed from my cousins house. ZIP is appearently better than DCN.
