WORKLOG: Cellphone Modification : Hitman Battery Cover

Orrite so i was very interested about modification from earlier and got serious after getting inspired by Zaid Haider's works. But i didn't have the guts to do my CPU case modding. So as a starter i chose to mod my cellphone's battery cover. I had much planning in my head but at the end of the work, i couldn't do much. it's just a simple layout so far. I might go ahead and do something more on this only if you suggest me what else to do.

ok so i will go step by step. The main message of this modding project is modding is not all an expensive thing. The only thing which you need is your will. Everything i used was in my room so i did not have to buy anything at all.

    1. things you require.
    *a cell phone
*a note book for scrap drawing
*an printed image of hitman : code 47 symbol
    * some pencil colors (bright ones recommended if the casing is black)
    *red/blue pen for draw
*red electrical tape. ( i bought it thinking i will but the case according to the layout and use the tape beneath the casing so the symbol would have a bright red colouring. but couldn't do any cutting as i didn't have the correct tools.)
*a SWISS KNIFE for cutting. (you need brute/manual force to use this tool for cutting)

*search in google for hitman logo.
*then print it out and draw a copy in the scrapbook.
*try to draw an image similar to size of the layout your gonna cut according to on the casing.

*hold the swiss knife tightly and start cutting/making deep lines onto the casing.
*take your time. this step takes time. it took about 30 mins for this single step.
*blow the dust out every minute. take a break, drink some water.

*after you have done making deep lines onto the casing, get some water and a piece of cloth to wipe pencil color and white plastic dusts.
*use a darker coloured pencil / any colouring tool you would like to use to colour the lines so the lines/borders look lighter and more visible / cool.

    * tada! you have done something! might not be as good as other modifications but yeah good enough as a starter for your cellphone's modification!

*** might have done lot of mistakes in grammar and spelling. Plus if you don't like anything, please post your complaints/comments here.

Plus i really would like to know what else can i do on this specific project? like get some jigsaw cutter and cut the layout? lol not possible. the casing is to small.

PS. THIS IS THE PHONE USED IN THIS PROJECT :

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    PART : 2 :

I realized that this has to be further modified. So, i did this.

    Tools :
    1. Some sign pens,
    2. White Fluid pen,
    3. Compass,
    4. Water and tissue paper.

orrite so i used this blue sign pen :

and i forgot to take pictures of the fluid pen.
so first of all, apply the white fluid over the layout to get a base. use the sharp compass to poke out the borders. then you'll have a finished base :

ok now use the sign pen to apply a colour coat over the base.

then use the water drenched paper to wipe off the extra colouring :

so that is the finished product .
here im comparing it with another cell phone :

I am a professional mod artist and I will say this "For Your First Mod this is a job well done, I am very impressed"

    Tips,

Use a pricy marker pen of 35tk. green/blue/red. Get a NASA Grade Polisher/ high quality nail polish and dyoxident. Now Wash the case, Use the Polished to polish and get rid of the scratches, Now dont over apply or you will lose color of the phone. Re Color it but only 1 coat every 10 mins with the marker, 2 coats max.

    Will look good,

You can even paint the whole mobile case with some Can Spray paint.

    Corrected Below

    Sorry,

Its Expensive= Best marker money can buy( The Ones that are called Permanent Markers)

NASA Grade, Hmm...I have a few they are the best there is and they will wipe off a 5 layers of Car's paint if over applied. Any way If you can find any such polisher or just use the best Nail Polish Remover.

i actually dont do mod for others, Just as a hobby, some times a fun new project with friends, I collect them or some times give them away as gift among friends. But i am a pro in the category. If i ware to charge people by the hour for modding then would make some nice money for a hobby aye but i prefer helping people grow into normal modders so they dont have to pay any one like me, not that any one dose normally! lol!
