WORKLOG UNDONE: Case modding.:. modding or disaster?

Well got very excited after hearing zaid bhai's announcement about modding.

So i messed everything up in over confidence and over excitement.

First of all, drew the layout of agent 47 logo on the casing at a corner where there originally were sticky pieces torned papers which earlier had been parts of a sticker.

Applied water + brute force to remove all sticker bits.

    drew layout.

tapped borders using simple electrical tapes. [the method used to block windows and door handles when painting a car]

    applied white fluid.

    let it dry.

    remove tapes.

poke border errors with swiss knife.

colour the white base with colour marker.

    - as the colouring wasnt good, i choose a darker colour. tried to colour blue over red. messed everthing up. then applied black pastel / wax chalk. couldnt find nail polish remover. used coconut oil as a shiner / polisher. well it looked shiny but it also get mixed with pastel and disaster. used water to fix things up. colouring wasnt good so applied another coat of pastel. wasnt relle working. took the casing to the kitchen and put it over oven. thought it would harden the paint and work as a fixative spray. didnt. melted everything. had to clean with water. then polish everything else back with oil.

well i learnt my lessons. i wont experiment wildly from now on while modding.

Shit bro, you did the entire method Wrong! Thats why!

Its a case and a big mod, ! you dont do it like that man...Wait I will try to post some tutorials today on how to paint your case in custom paint.

PS: Never use Electrical tape, silicon, or what so ever. You got to use Masking tape and 90% people/ car shops in bangladesh cant paint a car properly, I have painted few car panels my self and let me tell you thats not how you do it.

trust me i have searched for musking tape in hardware shops. all of em either game me duct tape or paper tape.

and yes i got it allllll wrong. well pictures will be uploaded soon and looking forward to get ur tutorial.

my lesson : modding can be an easy thing if u know what ur doing.
if ur overconfident and wanna do alga matabburi, ur screwed.

have you ever handled any of that? it can be heavy untill you get the hang of it. I think the international postal services on bangladesh are closed for a unknown time, Did you spill the nail polish over the casing giving the paint job a white faded color? Never use any thing else but Primer as base coating.

here is what you do now, get a 4 Sanding papers and wet sand it on your bathtub, After the bare metal or base coat is reached use finer sanding paper and then clean it up with lint free cotton cloth. Now Get normal paint and paint it with horse brush, will be all right.
