RULES, REGULATIONS, GUIDELINES
Code:Umbrella Management, House N. 59/1, Dhanmondi 4/a, Dhaka 1205 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare RULES, REGULATIONS, GUIDELINES General Game Mod will be used for all official matches. In the event of a server crash, if both teams can agree upon the score, the map will be restarted with the score intact. If there is a dispute then the round will be restarted. The sides and map will be decided upon knife rounds at the start of each round. If someone is killed by any other means than a knife during the knife round then the team responsible looses the round by default. Scroll firing, macros and triple fire buttons are not allowed. Players can install drivers for their hardware under the supervision of an admin. Only "Silencer" attachment is allowed. Friendly Fire: On (Team Mates) Perk 1: Bandolier (Fixed) Perk 2: Stopping Power (Fixed) Perk 3: Disabled All the matches & rounds except quarter final, semi final & final, will lead toward knockout. Quarter final, semifinal and final match has to be finished under required and scheduled timing. First team to win 12 rounds gets to go up the ladder All the above mentioned rules are already enforced in promodlive211. The descriptions of the values are only for new comers to have them know what changes to expect. UMBRELLA may install third party program and/or join as an observer for tournament operations purposes, such as verifying match results or gathering match data. Penalty for unfair play 1) Use of any cheat program 2) Intentional disconnection 3) Use of any settings exceeding the standard and permitted settings 4) Any unnecessary chatting during the match. 5) If a referee decides that external conditions (Press, Team Leader, Player, Spectator, etc) are giving or have given an unfair advantage to a player the player may be given a warning or lose by default at the referee's sole discretion. Upon discovery of any player committing any violations regarded as unfair play, that player will be disqualified from the tournament. A participant has to report at the Venue with respect to the scheduled time table. No participant shall be allowed to participate if he/she does not report to the organizing authority within their reporting time A participant will be informed about the exact time of their match when they report. A participant might have to wait for a maximum of 2 hours before his/her round begins. If a participant is found missing before the round then the opponent shall be awarded a walkover to the next round. No participant shall be allowed to participate in a round after the round begins. General Code of Conduct Upon discovery of any player committing any violations regarded as unfair play, that player will be disqualified from the tournament. During the course of any match, the operations staff and/or referee may determine other actions to embody unfair play at any time. Reporting issues and details ONLY USB devices shall be allowed to be connected. NO PS2 devices allowed. No headphones shall be provided. Please bring your own headphones if necessary. Gamers must switch off their cell-phones, PDA, Other communication devices before each gameplay. Games are played in PC keyboards; other controllers (Wheels/Joysticks/Gamepads) are allowed only after approval by the organizers. Food and drinks is prohibited during gameplay (except for chewing gums and breath fresheners etc.). Prizes are not transferable. Smoking is prohibited in the gaming zone. Players must need written permission from Umbrella It to promote any sponsor at the venue premises. UMBRELLA holds the right to change any rules anytime. AGAIN A REFEREE'S DECISION HAS TO BE ACCEPTED BY THE PARTICIPANTS AND NO ARGUMENTS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Only USB Pen-Drive is allowed for copying setup files of GamePads. (NO CD-ROM Drive available). If a gamer has registered in more than one game, then it's up to the sole discretion of the committee to disqualify him/her from any of the games in case of a time clash. Event Rules: Gamers have to ware the event t – shirts and gamer tag during the play time. • If any gamer or team remains unavailable during the time frame provided by the organizer, the opponent team or player of the absent team or player will be given walkover. • In a best of 3 games or in a 3 way match (for team games), the maximum round winner or the maximum point (winning + losing) acquirer will be declared as 1st and so on (this rule is only applicable when 3 teams play each other and wins only one match and loses another). • Any dispute arises during the event apart from rules of games, the decision made by the organizers ( Abid A. Minar, Basitul Islam, Kazi Moitry and Sakir Sourav) will be final. • Event will start from 10:00 am and finish at 07:00 pm. • Gamers and participants are not allowed to wear short or 3 – quarter trousers. • No outside food is allowed. • The process of a fair lottery for making groups and selecting opponents of each gamer will be executed in each game and no objection will be accepted.
