    Re: re: Overclockers ?

overclocking is a very simple but hazardous task, you will need to do a little study(online) to understand about it if i go out to explain it compleatly...

basically overclocking is a method done to a CPU or Graphics cards to increase their speeds, core clock, memory clock etc, getting the last bit of juice it can give. Overclocking is done mainly by a community of hardcore gamers , graphics designers, enthusiasts, moders or combination of all of em. The end Results can be astonishing, But the risks are too high, a overclocked CPU will get very hot and the current fan wont be able to cool it down, result= burnt , nuclear plant meltdown hehe..

Thats where We Moder guys com in, You see when ever its about making some kinda changes in any hardware its the moding, either making it cool physically or visually, or both!

this happens most of the times due to a lower power supply, You see the power supply has a ammount that is like ... the 12V rails are 4 and the floppy is 3V and other is 7V, some times over load from your Pc burns or messes it Up. any way forget that, if you ever want to do any over clocking again upgrade to a power supply above 500W.

See my new dual PSU in my worklogs (modding world)and make a Power Plant..

I see 8800 GT (kun edition vule gesi) 512 has 670 MHz core clocked-is it overclocked or what?
If it so, then the brands are bringing the editions that are overclocked right?

    re: Overclockers ?

Preoverclocked cards from factories undergo many stability tests before hitting the streets and they are safe.Even if your card burns out because of the factory overclocking ,you can claim a replacement. On the other hand, manual overclocking violates your warrantly and you are on your own to take the risks.
    Names are pretty ,but useless.

Pre-overclocked graphics cards are overclocked skillfully and the manufacturer do this overclocking, so it is more safer than overclocking manually. And manual over-clocking means u do the overclocking urself at ur own risk, some times manual overclocking void the products warranty.
